A Gladstone man was released from a hospital Sunday after being grazed by a boat propeller while helping clean up Table Rock Lake on Saturday.
Francis Gay, 55, was scuba diving to recover trash, aiding in a cleanup effort involving about 150 people, the Missouri Water Patrol said. As Gay surfaced, he was struck by the propeller.
Gay was taken to Skaggs Community Health Center and later transferred to Cox South hospital, where he received stitches.
